Job Purpose

To Assist in maintaining the risk-database to enable the effective collation of information from relevant bank’s systems to produce meaningful and logical trends of reports for Consumer Banking and Business Banking Products to be reviewed by respective Policy managers and support effective risk management.

Description

Consumer Asset Database Management

1. Assist in Identifying and collecting information from all relevant bank’s systems to be implemented on the department’s systems to produce meaningful and logical trends of report for Consumer Banking and Business Banking Products.

2. Assist in ensuring collected information are in relevant form and sanitised if required before being used for various reporting purpose.

3. Assist in ensuring Adequate and Healthy Storage enabling succinct reproduction of vintage MI’s.

Day to Day Operations

4. Implement the day to day operations assigned for the department to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.

Policies, Processes, and Procedures

5. Implement approved department policies, processes, and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

Compliance

6. Complies with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.

Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or of related field with

o 4 – 6 years of relevant work experience.

o Experience in data mining and analysis (business analytics or risk analytics) is preferred, but not mandatory

Skills:

o Excellent command of English language beside Arabic.

o Self-motivated, team player, excellent soft skills, quantitative and qualitative analysis and decision-making skills, etc.

o Ability of problem solving.

o Knowledge or Experience in implementing data warehouse and knowledge of SQL, Advanced Excel, Access or analytical tools like Crystal, Business Objects etc. is a must.
