We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in the advertising industry. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, performance, and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements and create comprehensive test plans. Your role will involve both manual and automated testing, and you will play a crucial part in the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
2. Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure optimal performance.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product features and create effective testing strategies.
4. Analyze and report test results, documenting defects and tracking them through resolution.
5. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and implementation.
6. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to software testing.
8. Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
9. Assist in the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role in the software development field.
2. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
3. Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
6. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively articulate testing results and issues.
7. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
8. Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python is a plus.
