We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Analyst

Principal responsibilities

• Support the preparation of client materials for origination and execution across all ECM products, across all industry sectors with a focus on India
• Work closely with the onshore team to assess the ideal deal size, timing and structure based on market conditions
• Assist in the day to day execution of transaction, liaising internally with other teams within HSBC
• Acquiring in-depth understanding of the capital markets, industry and business environment. This understanding enables the firm to design customized solutions for clients - whether it is strategic initiatives like capital financing or stake management strategies.

• Support onshore team in deal, market or stake related analysis, origination and execution
• Support the deal team through coordinated coverage and global-local infrastructure

Qualifiaction:

• MBA graduate
• Proficient in Corporate finance, accounting
• Proficient in capital market products (equity, debt, hybrids, convertibles etc.)
• MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Financial databases and research platforms like Bloomberg, FactSet, Dealogic etc.
