Room & Public Area Cleaning
Assist in cleaning guest rooms: making beds, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing amenities, and arranging supplies.
Support in cleaning public areas such as lobby, corridors, restrooms, and back-of-house areas.
Ensure all assigned areas meet brand cleanliness standards.
Operational Support
Help in preparing trolleys with linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
Assist in laundry operations – sorting, folding, and delivering linen.
Report maintenance issues (lights, AC, plumbing) to the supervisor.
Support during busy operations, check-outs, and room turnarounds.
Hygiene & Safety
Follow all hygiene protocols and safety standards as per hotel guidelines.
Use cleaning chemicals correctly and handle equipment safely.
Ensure proper waste segregation and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
Guest Interaction
Greet guests politely and offer assistance when needed.
Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy at all times.
Report any lost and found items immediately as per procedure.
Learning & Development
Participate in training on cleaning techniques, guest service, and brand standards.
Learn different housekeeping sections — rooms, public areas, laundry, and linen room.
Seek guidance from supervisors and continuously improve skills.
Hotel Management student / recent graduate or Diploma Holder
Prior housekeeping internship is an added advantage but not mandatory
