Description and Requirements

Position Overview / Purpose

Monitors infra/OS/cloud, handles alert/patch/log management for continuous SAP uptime.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Linux (RHEL, SUSE) and Windows server environments hosting SAP workloads.
Ensure infrastructure stability, security patching, and performance tuning aligned with SAP best practices.
Collaborate with SAP Basis, database, and cloud teams to support system provisioning, monitoring, and incident resolution.
Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks using scripting or configuration management tools.
Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery testing, and backup strategy validation for SAP infrastructure components.

Core Technical Expertise

Windows/Linux, Azure/AWS cloud, infra monitoring, scripting/automation.

Certifications / Qualifications

Azure/AWS SysOps Admin, Linux Admin.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline that provides a solid background in IT.

Experience & Competencies

5+ yrs infra support, SAP managed services.
