​Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a motivated, experienced, and skilled engineer to join our Connected Delivery platform team. This platform is responsible for enabling the discovery, download, and installation of all the Autodesk products, services, and third-party apps. You'll be responsible for building a resilient, scalable, and highly available full-stack application. As an ideal candidate, you’ll have led teams developing modern web experiences with cloud services in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop: Create high-quality, secure, and performant features that exceed expectations

  
  

• Project and Team Leadership: Provide leadership in breaking down, estimating, and organizing work for efficient project execution

  
  

• Agile Participation: Engage actively in agile ceremonies within the scrum team to ensure smooth project progression

  
  

• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and the development team to understand and elaborate on requirements

  
  

• Troubleshooting: Collaborate with the team to diagnose and resolve code-level issues swiftly and effectively

  
  

• Incident Response: Be available on a rotational basis for escalated incidents after hours or on weekends to ensure 24/7 platform availability

  
  

• Best Practices Guidance: Offer guidance to the team and other departments on software development best practices

  
  

• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and propose effective mitigation strategies associated with designs

  
  

• Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior developers to foster their professional growth

  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field. A master’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred

  
  

• Professional Experience: Over 5 years of professional experience in developing scalable, distributed applications

  
  

• Team Collaboration: Proven experience working within large, distributed teams with significant responsibility

  
  

• Programming Expertise: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, and ReactJS

  
  

• Frameworks Knowledge: Extensive experience with frameworks like NextJS, NestJS, and the .NET framework

  
  

• API Development: Proven experience in designing and building RESTful APIs using Microservices architecture

  
  

• Cloud Solutions: Strong expertise in building cloud-based API platforms or backend systems. Strong knowledge of AWS, databases, and cloud architecture

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
