Job Summary

As a Sr. Developer you will play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining data-driven applications using Tableau Database and SQL. You will work in a hybrid model collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your expertise in SQL will be essential in optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity. This role does not require travel and operates during day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data-driven applications using Tableau to create insightful visualizations that support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Optimize database performance by writing efficient SQL queries and implementing best practices for data management.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by conducting thorough testing and validation of data processes.
• Provide technical expertise in ANSI SQL to enhance data retrieval and manipulation capabilities.
• Maintain and update existing applications ensuring they meet evolving business needs and technological advancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database and application performance ensuring minimal downtime.
• Document technical specifications and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development efforts.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data management and application development.
• Support the companys mission by delivering high-quality solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive growth.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate expertise in Tableau for creating complex data visualizations and dashboards.
• Possess strong proficiency in SQL and ANSI SQL for efficient data querying and manipulation.
• Have extensive experience in database management and optimization techniques.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Show excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Be adaptable to changing business requirements and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry advancements.
