We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director - Insight and Analytics

Principal responsibilities

• End-to-end analytical support to technology change delivery, from requirements documentation and design to coordination of technical deployment and testing
• Lead on data analysis, informing requirement scope and design
• Work with the Product Owner to ensure that all key stakeholders are appropriately considered and engaged during analysis and implementation
• Chair kick-off meetings, regular status updates and other forums
• Adhere to workstream and programme governance structures, including regular updates to the PMO and Programme Leadership, and MI as required
• Monitor and escalate risks, issues and dependencies as appropriate
• The jobholder must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with various colleagues across the Business, Finance, Data and IT, each of which may have their own conflicting local pressures
• The jobholder must possess the ability to prioritize effectively and manage stakeholder expectations within strict time limits, as well as identifying and managing risks and key dependencies
• The jobholder must maintain a high degree of accuracy in all output, as well as the tenacity to progress work without necessarily requiring management direction
• The jobholder must demonstrate the ability to provide innovative recommendations and/or solutions to the project team when faced with unplanned situations

Qualifications 

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in finance and technology transformation (E)
• Business analysis skills and end-to-end understanding of the technology delivery lifecycle, from requirements documentation to deployment and testing (E)
• Experience in MI / dashboard delivery (E)
• Strong understanding of business / finance concepts and terminology within a banking environment (E) Skilled in data analysis, research, validation and documentation (E) 
• Strong self-starter, enthusiastic problem solver, ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision (E)
• High level of competency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel (E)
• Experience of Qliksense tooling delivery (D)
• Good understanding of Client Profitability and/or finance reporting (D)
• Background in programming language (e.g. SQL / Python / Qlik) (D)
