To ensure efficient production planning, execution, and process optimization in the Wood Division, with a focus on maximizing quality, minimizing waste, and improving production timelines.
The role requires in-depth knowledge of woodworking processes, machinery, raw materials, and quality standards in the furniture industry.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute daily production schedules in alignment with order priorities, material availability, and machine capacity.
Supervise wood machining operations including cutting, edge-banding, routing, lamination, and CNC processing, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Monitor machine efficiency and downtime , ensuring preventive maintenance schedules are followed and escalations are addressed timely.
Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste, improve cycle time, and increase throughput.
Ensure strict compliance to production SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards across all wood processing stages.
Analyze production data and KPIs (e.
g., yield, rework, utilization) to drive data-based decision-making and performance enhancements.
Coordinate with Design, SCM, Maintenance, and Assembly teams to resolve production bottlenecks and ensure smooth workflow.
Train and guide operators and technicians on woodworking techniques, machine handling, and safety practices.
