About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Culinary Interns to join Jumeirah Hotels in Dubai. 

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Support daily kitchen operations by preparing mise-en-place, assembling ingredients, and assisting in food presentation to ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain strict hygiene standards and follow HACCP and Dubai Municipality regulations for a safe and clean kitchen environment.
• Assist with receiving, checking, and organizing goods while keeping storage areas clean and orderly.
• Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff, attend daily briefings, and ensure smooth shift handovers and communication.
• Take on additional duties as needed, adapt to schedule changes, and actively contribute to the kitchen’s success and learning culture.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 

• Must be currently enrolled in a university or a recent graduate of a university degree or completed a kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course
• Fluent in English
• Demonstrate a passion for quality and cooking
• Strong attention to detail
