Responsibilities:
Responsible to develop, provide support and coordinate all marketing and communication activities in Middle East Region, including product information, website maintenance and customer inputs, Shows/ Events and press releases.
To develop and implement the marketing, communication and brand strategy for the brand in Middle East region adhering to Global Corporate Identity.
Plan, promote, coordinate and evaluate multiple large-scale events like Automecanik, tradefairs, workshops, conferences, PR events through collaboration with event management companies.
Creating and customizing marketing strategies for the regional branches.
In close co-operation with corporate designing and updating websites, brochures, catalogues and PR materials.
Arranging and planning marketing campaigns in co-operation with the sales and service departments. Support and manage the preparation, organization and communication of tradeshows and events.
Identification of target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them effectively.Organizing brochures catalogues.
Work with customers and sales team to implement national and local product/customer promotions to pull through sales and build the brand.
Monthly reporting of the managed advertising and promotion budget e.g. Current/projected spend compared to budget.
Implement agreed global e-commerce strategy in Middle East to include web, mobile and latest technology platforms within the global policy.
Managing Events:
Corporate strategic fairs: Automechanika, Inmex, Idex (local input and support. Local small fairs: UITP, Seatrade, ADIPEC (local budget and manpower).
Local customer events: Open house day marine, crane day, campaigns etc.
Local support of events done by customers: RTA innovations lab, Iveco trucks product launch, customer showroom openings (such activities in the Middle East need prompt response as deadlines are tight – no time to make a planning
Partner management:
Office/showroom branding of customers (site visits by marketing team needed; measurements, meetings, understanding customer needs).
Local giveaways (adapted to local market trends e.g. dates, cost efficient local production; low production cost, no transportation cost, monitoring of stock levels etc.).
Dealing with local customers requires understanding local mentality and being close to the customer and local sales management.
Campaigns/ sales incentives:
Solutions, ideas and support for the sales team. A constant team work, face-to-face meetings, follow up and adjustments.
Internal/external communication:
Country website, local templates, info emails, local brochures, seasonal greetings, articles, advertisements (It ensures internally an efficient and unified communication with local needs). Right from leading the marketing activities for the region, plan, direct, or coordinate marketing policies and programs, develop trade media and PR plans, support sales team to research new leads and develop prospect list, carry out market research and market evaluation etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with demonstrated experience in the field of Marketing or related field.
Wide knowledge of marketing techniques and concepts.
Strong analytical skills and project management skills.
Confident and dynamic personality.
Persuasive communicator with experience of operating at all levels. Good, clear and precise communication skills – Verbal & written.
