This is how you will make a difference :- Work with Regional Procurement Business Partner and key Global Procurement team members to define & execute the functional strategyEstablish and lead multi-functional local category activities through the sourcing lifecycle and in line with the Procurement strategy and agreed targets for cost & qualityBe recognised as the Affiliate/Local centre of Procurement expertise and utilize this knowledge to act as a for implementing new commercial models and ways of workingImplement Global/regional sourcing initiatives with accountability to work with the the Affiliate/Divisional Units and key stakeholders to deliver committed value and relevant functional, business and performance objectives Gather and challenge requirements, tailor supplier requests, negotiate and finalize contract to execute sourcing / tendering activities by working closely with local businesses

7 years experience in a similar role within the MEA region, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry, but not essential.Experience in all Procurement disciplines including Procurement Strategy, Strategic Sourcing, Procure-to-Pay, Procurement Systemsand Category ManagementAdvanced negotiation and contractual skillsExcellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relations with internal and external stakeholders. Arabic and French skills would be a plus.
