Role Summary We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help scale and secure our infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will be a core member of the DevOps team, focusing on automation, stability, and efficiency. This role requires hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud monitoring. Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automation: Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI / GitHub Actions) to automate deployment, testing, and rollback procedures.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, including IAM policy management, Security Groups, and compliance checks.
• Monitoring & Logging: Configure and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving measures and performance tuning across AWS resources (EC2, RDS, Lambda).
• Collaboration: Work closely with software development teams to ensure their applications are deployed reliably and efficiently.
• On-Call Support: Participate in an on-call rotation to quickly diagnose and resolve critical production incidents.

Required Technical Skills

• Cloud: 3+ years of professional experience managing infrastructure in AWS.
• IaC: Strong proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation. Must be able to manage full lifecycle infrastructure provisioning.
• Operating Systems: Solid understanding of Linux administration and shell scripting.
• CI/CD: Experience building and managing automated deployment pipelines (GitLab/GitHub).
• Networking: Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, Routing, Load Balancing - ALB/NLB).
• Containers: Practical experience with Docker. Knowledge of Kubernetes is a strong plus.
• Scripting: Proficiency in at least one high-level scripting language, preferably Python or Go.
• Databases: Familiarity with managing managed database services like AWS RDS (PostgreSQL or MySQL).

Desired Attributes & Education

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional is a major advantage.
• Communication: Excellent communication and documentation skills, capable of clearly articulating technical issues and solutions to non-technical staff.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive and analytical approach to troubleshooting complex, distributed system issues.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum team environment, embracing feedback and continuous improvement.
