Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de partie to join our culinary team in Mumbai, India. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining excellent hygiene standards.


  • Manage and supervise a designated section of the kitchen, coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare high-quality dishes according to restaurant standards and specifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef de partie or in a similar role
  • Strong culinary skills with expertise in various cooking techniques and food preparation methods
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and ability to incorporate local flavors
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining kitchen equipment
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP principles
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Minimum higher school education; additional certification(s) from a reputable culinary school is an advantage
  • Knowledge of other languages is beneficial
