We do this by: · Expanding renewables · Transforming conventional power · Strengthening electrical grids · Driving industrial decarbonization · Securing the supply chain and necessary minerals Key Responsibilities: Core Component Design: Design and develop core steam turbine components (forged, casted & fabricated) with consideration for performance, durability, cost, and ease of manufacturing and service. Generate detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and bills of materials (BOMs). Engineering Analysis: Perform, form, fit and function studies to ensure design integrity and compatibility. Issue Resolution: Evaluate non-conformance reports (NCRs) and define corrective actions. Troubleshoot manufacturing deviations and field issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Documentation & Communication : Maintain comprehensive design documentation. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. 2-5 years of experience component design, in steam turbine design or similar rotating equipment is plus Proficiency in CAD (e.g., Siemens NX, AutoCAD) 2-5 years of experience. Excellent problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with manufacturing processes and service engineering is a plus. Preferred Skills: Proficiency with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter), SAP.
