Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in SQL Unix Shell Scripting Data Warehousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. Proficiency in English is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions to meet business requirements.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Provide technical expertise in SQL and Unix Shell Scripting to optimize data processing workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources using IBM Infosphere Datastage.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts to support data integration and transformation tasks.
• Ensure the scheduling and execution of data processing jobs are performed efficiently and reliably.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data warehousing systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Implement best practices for data management and governance to maintain high data quality standards.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of data warehousing solutions to align with evolving business needs.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster their technical growth.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Document technical specifications and processes to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data warehousing practices.

Qualifications

• Possess strong technical skills in SQL Unix Shell Scripting Data Warehousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage.
• Have a solid understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in developing and maintaining ETL processes.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Show excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
• Have experience in the Finance & Accounting domain is a plus.
• Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model with minimal supervision.
• Display a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Show a commitment to maintaining high standards of data quality and integrity.
• Have a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Exhibit a customer-focused mindset and the ability to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
