Mastercard is a leading company in providing transaction switching of credit & debit cards. It also provides other value added services. It’s products are used globally in all regions including countries in ASIA, Europe, Americas, Middle east, etc. Mastercard switches over 160 billion transactions in a year. • As part of Product and Engineering team, this role would manage the road map of transaction switching product and services.
• This person will work with global Mastercard product management and regional product teams, in addition to engineering teams to make sure Mastercard builds product features that are in line with customer & market needs.
Role
• Define, document and track clear business / product requirements.
• Use data to drive requirements, and make objective decisions.
• Define Non functional requirements for the product in terms of performance, availability, reliability etc.
• Help to document technical/business documentation for customers to understand product capabilities and use them.
• Demo product features to customers as well as accept features developed by development team. Oversee rapid prototyping and iterative design efforts for a select subset of MasterCard products Other Areas.
• Participate to develop product strategy for adoption by different types of customers as well as ability to articulate benefits for customers.
• Define priorities for development team to work upon as well as manage the roadmap of the product along with other product managers.
• Identify dependency and work with other product managers to prioritize dependencies in order to keep product road map realistic.

• Deep expertise in payment industry and Mastercard transaction flow.
• Strong understanding of issuing & acquiring systems & operations.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, complemented by the skills to engage across various levels of leadership and across engineering, account teams, regional & global product teams, and operational teams to deliver results end-to-end.
• Track record of designing and executing error-free customer experiences & products from idea to action.
• Experience incubating and shaping solutions from insights into successful products or initiatives.
• Strong credit & debit acumen, experience in consumer, small business and commercial projects. • Able to develop compelling business cases and align with global stakeholders.
• Inspirational leadership skills and the ability to build and empower high-performing teams in an agile environment.
