Delivery Lead - Greenfield Projects - Commercial buildings


Qualification & Experience : BE in Civil engineering with 20+ experience in the field of handling multiple large scale green field projects. Project management background is preferrable.


Position Overview


The Delivery Lead for Greenfield Projects is responsible for managing and executing new development projects from conception through completion. This role requires strategic oversight of complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, timeline adherence, and budget compliance.


Key Responsibilities


Project Leadership & Strategy Lead end-to-end delivery of greenfield development projects, establishing project vision, scope, and strategic direction. Develop comprehensive project plans that encompass all phases from feasibility and planning through construction and handover. Coordinate with senior stakeholders to align project objectives with broader business goals and market opportunities.


Team Management & Coordination Build and manage cross-functional project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and communication protocols across all team members. Foster collaborative working relationships and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.


Risk Management & Quality Assurance Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the development lifecycle. Implement quality control processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and organizational standards. Monitor project performance against established KPIs and implement corrective actions when needed.


Financial & Commercial Management Oversee project budgets, financial forecasting, and cost control measures. Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations. Monitor cash flow and report on financial performance to senior leadership.


Stakeholder Communication Serve as primary point of contact for clients, investors, and stakeholders. Provide regular project updates, manage expectations, and address concerns promptly. Present project status and recommendations to City leadership


Required Qualifications


Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field. Minimum 7-10 years of project management experience with at least 5 years specifically in greenfield or large-scale development projects. Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent preferred.


Technical Competencies Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) and Microsoft Office suite. Understanding of construction processes, building systems, and regulatory environments. Knowledge of financial modeling, budget management, and commercial real estate principles.


Leadership Skills Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously. Strong decision-making capabilities under pressure and proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Experience managing projects with budgets exceeding 100 Cr preferred.


Success Metrics


Project delivery including additional measures include team performance, risk mitigation effectiveness, and contribution to organizational growth objectives.
