Job Summary

The Sr. Test Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. With a focus on database and embedded systems the candidate will design and execute test plans analyze results and collaborate with development teams to enhance product performance. This hybrid role requires expertise in SQL and C/C++ to support operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Integration Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans bringing together software components from various teams.
• Integrate different embedded SW applications (app layer) and low-level drivers (Basic layer) with cyber security measures and ensure that it is working as expected.
• Apply expertise in embedded systems including C/C++ and Embedded C to test software functionality.
• Monitor and report on test progress providing insights and recommendations for product enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software testing.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and performance.
• Implement automated testing solutions to streamline testing processes and increase efficiency.
• Support operations by identifying and resolving software issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing activities and outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing methodologies and tools.
• Maintain documentation of test procedures results and defect tracking for future reference.

Qualifications

• Embedded concepts at SW as well HW levels.
• Architecture high/low level design and coding in Embedded C. (mush have)
• Knowledge of cyber security to develop secure code.
• Structured modularized development and testing at all levels for different embedded software components like -
• RTOS knowledge (Threadx Yocto Linux) memory etc.
• Knowledge on communication drivers and protocols e.g. RS232 RS485 I2C SPI etc.
• MCU architectures. Preferably - Renesas (Rx V850 RL78).
• Good understanding on CI/CD process and deployment. Working experience on Jenkins Artifactory Bitbucket will be added advantage
• Python scripting experience
• Experience on release documentation
