Your new role – challenging and future-oriented Responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, fact finding, and recommissioning of Small/ Medium/ Aero derivative Gas Turbines at customer sites.
Knowledge of generator protection system, grid protection system, AVR System experience is a must Knowledge on control system, Allen Bradley and Siemens PCS system is an added advantage Plan and coordinate on site commissioning and recommissioning activities.
Liaise with projects team, engineering and various other departments, stake holders including different global teams as required during execution/trouble shooting phase.
Carry out the commissioning activities to bring the package into service and obtain customer acceptance.
Implement approved design changes and software modifications that may be required to bring the product up to specification.
Ensure highlighting document problems encountered and design changes carried out whilst at site, for presentation at formal debrief meetings, submitting “red marked” drawings.
Maintain a full log of commissioning activities and record any customer delays during commissioning activities, complete a concise report.
Carry out troubleshooting activities.
Ensure compliance with company / customer HSE policy during all activities · Train customer personnel during plant operation / commissioning We don’t need superheroes, just super minds Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation & Control Engineering Minimum 4-5 years of work experience as Electrical engineer in testing and maintenance of power plant and Generator Protection system Knowledge and hands on experience of generator protection system, grid protection system, AVR System is a must Additional experience in power plant control , operation and maintenance Willingness to travel on sites and offshore platform for long durations Verbal and written communication skills in English Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer facing environment.
Strong customer centric approach Conversant with Indian and International codes & standards viz IS, IEC, Knowledge of Industry Norms and Standards, field instrumentation and devices, standard control strategies.
To partner the Project team to Execute orders in line with planned cost and time schedule, follow work procedures for compliance with quality systems and statutory requirements.
