We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team in Chennai, India. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in various residential and commercial settings throughout the Chennai area.

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and components, including air conditioning units, heat pumps, furnaces, and ventilation systems
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues using appropriate tools and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing filters
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
• Respond promptly to customer service calls and emergency situations
• Provide clear explanations and recommendations to clients regarding HVAC system operations and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling refrigerants and electrical components
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently
• Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and industry best practices

• HVAC certification or relevant technical diploma required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation
• Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems as they relate to HVAC
• Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites within Chennai
• Flexibility to work overtime and respond to emergency calls when necessary
• Knowledge of HVAC safety protocols and relevant local regulations
• Customer-focused attitude with a professional and friendly demeanor
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes
