We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering



In this role, you will:



  • Lead development efforts with expertise in Java 17, API, Microservices, Spring Boot 3.3.4, PostgreSQL, JPA, React, JavaScript and Apache Spark.
  • Strong leadership and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Dataflow, Big Query/Clickhouse, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, GCS, and Composer.
  • Proficient in Apache Airflow, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Python for scripting, automation, and testing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance pipelines and cloud-native solutions with a focus on Extraction, Transform and Load using Apache Flink / SpringBoot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features while ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and applications and provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies, best practices, and industry trends.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:



  • 15+ years of experience in development engineering, with a focus on ETL processes and data pipeline development.
  • Handson experience in Java, Spring boot, SQL, and cloud-native technologies, with the ability to code and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with experience in collaborating with senior business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud and Kubernetes environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
  • Relevant industry certifications and a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to report risks/issues and propose mitigation plans effectively
