Overview
The Dual Message Authorization team is looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an quality driven mindset.
Role
In this lead engineer position, You will:
• Create & enhance development standards, processes, tools and methodologies; partner with other functions to develop and test requirements.
• Mentor all team members
• Work with software developers and domain experts in designing, performing, and improving verification tests
• Work collaboratively and effectively in a very fast paced environment.
• Perform design and code reviews to improve quality of the products
• Drive the architectural design, including dependent services, service interactions and policies.
• Establish program level strategies and roadmaps across platform services.
• Introduce new service lines, new, disruptive, technologies to enhance the program or domain.
• Consult across teams and across service lines to define new opportunities.
• Establish the architectural and capability roadmap for a service.
All About You
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Extensive experience in Java, C, C++ on Unix.
• Experience with socket programming, IPC, Shared memory.
• Experience with Unit test tools, Static code analysis tools, debuggers.
• Payment domain knowledge (ISO 8583) is a definite plus
• Experience in creating and analyzing functional tests based on the requirements
• Experience on SDLC and STLC
• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Always look for simple potential solutions to solve problems
