Title and Summary


Manager, Product OperationsThe Manager, Network Products will join a team driving product strategy, roadmap, and execution of the future of Mastercard’s global core payments network.
The successful candidate will be part of the Product Operations team working tightly with Product Managers and cross functional partners across Mastercard to deliver on our most critical business priorities. We will partner with Product Management and Product Development to ensure our initiatives are executed flawlessly from beginning to end, developing execution plans in alignment with our goals and objectives, manage risk and expectations, and provide executive transparency on status.
The role:
• Connect business priorities to technical execution by clarifying ambiguity, helping to resolve blockers, and managing expectations.
• Supports investment planning including gathering supporting data and creating proposals for incremental funding to ensure teams can meet enterprise demand and priorities
• Partners with technology intake partners to manage intake requests and ensure delivery on highest priorities
• Builds impactful communications to executive leadership to provide transparency into end to end execution
• Acts as a subject matter expert in helping Network Products Product Managers to navigate the intake process
• Proposes recommendations for simplification and continuous improvement
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills and experiences
• Lead by example with hands-on approaches to demonstrate product management excellence and share best practices
• Demonstrate and drive Mastercard Way behaviors through their behavior, (e.g. customer and stakeholder interactions)
About you:
• Prior experience in payments preferred.
• Self-starter and quick learner with ability to work independently.
- Strong project management skills (PMP or other recognized certification preferred).
- Experience with risk management and developing mitigation plans
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments; flexibility to handle rapidly changing scenarios.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and manage complex projects; successfully manage multiple responsibilities and tasks.
• Constant curiosity, willing to dive deep and learn about our technology, system structure, and rules.
• Analytical, data and problem-solving skills that go beyond the numbers; able to use data to tell a story and influence decision makers.
• Known for your ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, especially to executives, both written and verbal.
• Strong visual presentation skills, including data visualization and the ability to produce clear, compelling slides.
• Demonstrated success in managing strategic efforts; strong organization, attention to detail and task management is expected.
• Values collaboration and inclusion, ability to work cross-functionally
• Builds relationships and cultivates networks with ease, interacting with varying levels of leadership across the organization; ability to lead and influence at all levels.
