We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Chennai, India.
 

Job Purpose:


We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle HCM Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team and support end-to-end implementation and support of Oracle Fusion HCM modules. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data migration, reporting, and configuration across Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, and Absence Management ensuring they are efficient, accurate, and aligned with business requirements.


Supporting 2nd level support / DevOps activities, collaborating with divisional counterparts, and delivering high-quality data management solutions that meet both local and global needs.


 
 

Your tasks:


  • Lead and support Oracle Fusion HCM implementations and enhancements.
  • Perform data migration using HDL, Spreadsheet Data Loader, and reconciliation processes.
  • Design and develop reports using BI Publisher, OTBI, and HCM Extracts.
  • Configure enterprise structures, flex fields, value sets, and cloud security roles.
  • Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across HCM modules.
  • Prepare technical design documents, unit test scripts, and support go-live activities.
  • Work on REST and SOAP web services for integrations.
  • Provide post-production support and continuous improvements. 

Your profile:


  • 5–7 years of professional experience in HR data management or data integration support.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud data tools, including:
    • HCM Data Loader (HDL)
    • People API
    • Reference Data Management (RDM) and/or Spreadsheet Data Loader (SDH)
  • Proficiency in SQL for database querying, data validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of HR data structures, organizational hierarchies, and mapping rules.
  • Experience with interface monitoring, error handling, and root cause analysis in HR systems.
  • Ability to work independently in providing second-level (L2) support and DevOps activities for HR data integrations.
  • Familiarity with automation tools or process improvement methodologies.
  • Exposure to global HR environments and cross-functional data flows.
  • Basic scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Shell, or similar) for data processing.
