With us, you can do something significant that benefits society and human progress Your new role – challenging and future-oriented Plant Manager (Goa) - SE, GT GS – Substation, STATCOM, HVDC Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing and Assembly Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing and assembly setup.
Ensure efficient and effective production processes to meet quality and delivery targets.
Process Evaluation and Automation: Critically evaluate existing manufacturing processes.
Identify and implement opportunities for automation and digitalization to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Lean Practices Deployment: Deploy lean manufacturing practices to minimize waste and optimize resources.
Continuously improve processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Safety and Quality Culture: Lead and inspire employees to establish and maintain a culture of safety and quality.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
Workforce Optimization: Utilize the workforce optimally to achieve production goals.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance workforce productivity and engagement.
Diversity Development: Develop and sustain a diverse workforce.
Promote an inclusive work environment that values diversity and fosters collaboration.
Technical Knowledge: Possess a basic understanding of the functioning of STATCOM and HVDC systems.
Apply technical knowledge to support manufacturing and assembly operations.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering.
At least 10+ years of experience, especially in project/manufacturing background.
Basic understanding of substations, STATCOM, and HVDC systems is required.
. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to implement lean manufacturing practices and process improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve safety and quality standards.
Experience in evaluating and implementing automation and digitalization solutions.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
