Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable data solutions using Python and Cloudera Data Platform to enhance data processing capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize data workflows using Impala and Hive.
• Ensure seamless integration of Apache Hadoop with existing data systems to improve data accessibility and performance.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights that drive strategic decision-making.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance in the development of data-driven applications and solutions.
• Oversee the maintenance and optimization of data pipelines to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data processing and storage systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data architecture and infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for data security and compliance to protect sensitive information.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document and communicate technical specifications and project progress to relevant teams.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data technologies to drive innovation within the team.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment to promote knowledge sharing and team growth.

Qualifications

• Possess strong proficiency in Python programming for data analysis and application development.
• Demonstrate extensive experience with Cloudera Data Platform for managing and processing large datasets.
• Have in-depth knowledge of Impala and Hive for efficient querying and data manipulation.
• Show expertise in Apache Hadoop for distributed data storage and processing.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a hybrid work model.
• Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Certifications Required

Cloudera Certified Professional (CCP) Data Engineer Python Institute Certified Professional
