About the Team 

Our Database Architects work across multiple agile software engineering teams, supporting developers, testers, and product owners. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your contributions help shape the architecture and performance of our products.

About the Role 

We’re looking for a Senior Database Architect to join our team. This role involves designing and maintaining database systems, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

You’ll be working on the FIRCO Continuity Project, contributing to the development and optimization of relational databases used in our products.

Responsibilities: 

• Database Design & Modeling: Define architecture based on user needs, maintain schemas, and support deployment strategies.

  
  
  

• Development Support: Guide developers on best practices, review SQL code, and implement patches.

  
  
  

• Performance & Optimization: Set up environments, analyze performance, and tune queries and systems.

  
  
  

• Technical Support: Investigate and resolve database-related issues in production and implementation projects.

  
  
  

• Administration: Install, configure, and optimize internal databases for engineering and support teams.

  
  
  

Requirement:

• Experience in database architecture, administration, or a related role (typically 3+ years)

  
  
  

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

  
  
  

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

  
  
  

• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL

  
  
  

• Experience with data modeling and schema design

  
  
  

• Exposure to cloud platforms and monitoring tools is a plus

  
  
  

• Comfortable working in Linux and/or Windows environments

  
  
  

• Relational Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL (in development)

  
  
  

• Scripting: Linux and Windows environments

  
  
  

• Monitoring Tools and Cloud Deployment

  
  
  

• NoSQL databases (experience is a plus)
