Quality Engineering within is about creating an ecosystem where all delivery teams can achieve time-to-market, quality excellence, and higher customer satisfaction within all verticals including core, emerging payments, and value-added services. Unlike similar quality/testing roles in other organizations, Quality Engineering positions require a firm knowledge and hands on software development skills on par with software developers to work closely them to build test automation, test infrastructure, and perform code analysis/review to enable development quality. This position will be responsible for driving strategic leadership and Quality Engineering best practices within team in working with teams to deliver applications and solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders, including consumers, merchants, issuers and governments. Technology stack is based on Java and includes Spring Framework, Spring boot, RESTful APIs, Postgres, Apache Kafka Development with CI/CD stack such as Chef, Jenkins, Sonar, Checkmarx, Maven. Quality and automation are maintained and improved using Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber, Junit, JMeter. Responsibilities Minimum relevant experience of 6+ years Need to have testing experience on “CSGI Singleview” Billing and/or “CSGI Intermediate” mediation application Need to have good knowledge/hands on experience of Unix and SQL Hands-on test automaton skills in Java, SpringBoot microservice testing with experience in unit, functional and integration testing. Hands-on UI test automation skills using Cypress framework. Hands-on and knowledge on performance test tool BlazeMeter Knowledge of different software development test approaches & frameworks: BDD, Unit tests, Cucumber, Spock, Groovy. Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools such as Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Chef. Experience working in a cloud environment an advantage e.g. PCF, Azure. Experience in writing clear and efficient test plans and test cases. Experience in working in an Agile environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Show initiative and demonstrates a willingness to take on challenging opportunities. Skills Must have Minimum relevant experience of 6+ years Candidate should have 4+ years of experience on the billing and/or mediation applications Need to have testing experience on “CSGI Singleview” Billing and/or “CSGI Intermediate” mediation application Need to have good knowledge/hands on experience of Unix and SQL Good understanding of manual and automation testing Any scripting (shell/python/perl) knowledge/experience will be added advantage Need to have knowledge of API testing using tools like SoapUI, Postman, Swagger Good communication and aptitude Be ready to work in hybrid mode (1-2 days need to work from the Office) Nice to have ISTQB Certification If no experience in CSGI Singleview Billing or CSGI Intermediate applications, then we can consider Amdocs Billing experience or Oracle Billing experience candidates.
