THIS IS YOUR ROLE Job Description Job Title: Senior PLC Programmer & LabVIEW Expert –Automation & Digitalization We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead automation, testing, and digitalization initiatives in the electrical and industrial automation domain. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PLC programming, LabVIEW development, and digital transformation technologies, enabling smart, connected, and data-driven systems across manufacturing and testing environments. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Automation & Control Systems: • Design and implement advanced PLC-based control systems for electrical machinery, switchgear, and industrial automation setups. • Develop and optimize HMI/SCADA interfaces for real-time monitoring, diagnostics, and remote control. • Integrate PLCs with sensors, actuators, drives, and industrial communication networks using protocols like Modbus, Profibus, and OPC UA. • Ensure compliance with IEC standards and electrical safety regulations. LabVIEW-Based Test Systems: • Architect and develop LabVIEW applications for automated testing of electrical components and systems. • Interface LabVIEW with NI DAQ, PXI, and third-party instruments for high-speed data acquisition and analysis. • Implement real-time monitoring, fault detection, and predictive maintenance algorithms. • Collaborate with QA and R&D teams to define test protocols and validation strategies. Digitalization & Smart Systems: • Lead digitalization initiatives including IIoT integration, cloud connectivity, and data analytics for smart manufacturing. • Develop dashboards and analytics tools for performance monitoring, energy management, and predictive insights. • Implement edge computing and data-driven control strategies using modern platforms (e.g., Siemens MindSphere, NI SystemLink). • Drive adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies across automation and testing workflows. Project Leadership & Collaboration: • Lead cross-functional teams in automation, testing, and digitalization projects from concept to commissioning. • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices. • Coordinate with design, production, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of automation and digital solutions. • Prepare detailed documentation including system architecture, test reports, and compliance records. ________________________________________ Qualifications • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, or related field. • 7+ years of experience in PLC programming, LabVIEW development, and digitalization in electrical/automation environments. • Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) or Developer (CLD) preferred. • Siemens Certified Automation Professional or equivalent . • NI Certified LabVIEW Embedded Systems Developer (CLED) or equivalent advanced certification. • Strong knowledge of industrial protocols and IIoT platforms. • Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, NI hardware, and cloud-based analytics tools.
