Job Description Summary



We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Web Tagging Expert specializing in Google web tagging technologies and tagging automation. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, JavaScript/DOM scraping, Google Ads conversion tracking, Python, Selenium, and Jenkins. This role involves implementing, managing, and optimizing tagging setups to ensure accurate data collection and actionable insights for our digital marketing initiatives across all platforms, while driving automation for tagging-related processes.

Key Accountability:



  • Collaborate with analytics and marketing teams to deliver insights derived from web tagging.



  • Implement and manage web tagging solutions across enterprise-level websites.



  • Configure and maintain web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other relevant platforms.



  • Develop and execute a robust tagging strategy using tools like Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or Tealium.



  • Ensure accurate setup and configuration of analytics to capture essential data points.



  • Apply advanced analytics techniques, including attribution modeling, predictive analytics, and customer lifetime value analysis.



  • Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to optimize website elements and marketing campaigns.



  • Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in digital analytics and data science.




Essential Requirement:



  • 8–10 years of experience in web analytics and tagging implementation, preferably for large-scale or enterprise-level websites.



  • Strong expertise in implementing tags using Tag Management Systems (TMS) such as Google Tag Manager or Tealium.



  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.



  • Hands-on experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.



  • Solid knowledge of both server side and client side tagging



  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.



  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.



  • Proven ability to conduct code audits, testing, and data validation to ensure data accuracy and quality.



  • Proficiency in Python, Selenium, and Jenkins for automating tag auditing processes.



  • Ability to identify automation use cases related to tagging workflows.




Desired Qualifications:



  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager certifications preferred.



  • Data Analytics certification is a plus.
