Mastercard Developers (https://developer.mastercard.com) is the primary platform for Mastercard partners to access a diverse range of payment, data, loyalty, and security APIs. The team is responsible for delivering an experience that ensures developers can quickly find the right API, assess its technical capabilities, and integrate it into new and innovative solutions. We are looking for a technically strong, detail-oriented, operationally focused, and customer-obsessed Senior Automation Engineer to join the team.

Role
• Work closely with the internal teams to test and automate new features developed on Mastercard Developer Portal(https://developer.mastercard.com/) & other internal tools.
• Coordination and communication within the team. Take complete ownership to finish the assigned tasks.
• Perform code review, verify, and validate the code developed and deployed.
• Active participation in all SCRUM ceremonies like, Daily, Grooming, Planning, Demos, Retrospectives etc.
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.
• Engage in production release planning, release plan review, & deployment activities.
• Triages issues efficiently and follows up the status proactively.
• Generates creative ideas to improve the processes in place and executes them successfully.
• Becomes an expert user and owner of the internal tools used in onboarding.
All about you
• Experience with REST based web services; JSON, XML
• High-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in a collaborative (Agile) environment
• Strong experience with Java (J2EE), Selenium, Jbehave/Ccumber, API Testing.
• Manual Testing experience across major web browsers
• Highly experienced in using tools like JIRA/Rally, Confluence, Linux console, DB client, Splunk.
• Excellent troubleshooting follows up & cross-team collaboration skills.
• Demonstrates ownership and believes in “Getting things done”.
• Ability to learn internal tools and become an expert user.
• Excellent leadership, influential and writing skills.
• Offers high-value contributions to the product, team, and the company proactively.
