Senior Systems Engineer - Safety & Risk Management


As a Senior System Engineer specializing in Risk management, you will work on product safety for Image Guided Therapy systems. You will support all new product introductions as well as post market surveillance and maintenance initiatives. You will ensure that our patient can undergo acute minimally invasive procedures with the support of our systems, knowing that they were designed according to the state-of-the-art safety and reliability concepts and processes.


Your role:


  • Support in the execution of product safety risk management activities related to the Azurion and Allura IGT platforms
  • Actively maintain and advance our safety risk management and system engineering practices
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive safety risk assessment and risk mitigations
  • Enable & support the quality processes related to medical device development, risk management, post-market surveillance etc.

You're the right fit if:


  • Master's degree in engineering disciplines
  • Minimum of 15 of experience in product safety risk management in a medical regulated industry
  • Affinity to medical device standards and regulatory requirements
  • Very strong analytical skills, and proven ability to understand dependencies within a complex system
  • Strong communication skills and experience in leading teams and creating alignment between a broad variety of stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Experience in audits from competent authorities and regulatory bodies
  • Excellent documentation and writing skills with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and compliant records, procedures, and reports

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.


Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.


Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
