Your future role


Take on a new challenge and apply your embedded systems expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.


You'll play a key role in delivering software modules, ensuring detailed design, implementation, and testing of modules that contribute to the future of smart mobility. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Software Architects, Software Designers, and Validation & Verification (V&V) Designers, supporting program goals and quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments.


You’ll specifically take care of software module integration, testing, and configuration management, but also contribute to standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.


We’ll look to you for:


  • Contributing to the elaboration of software specifications and architecture


  • Performing detailed design, coding, and integration of software modules


  • Setting up the software development toolchain


  • Preparing and performing software module tests and verifications


  • Supporting software and hardware integration


  • Keeping informed of technology advancements and contributing to standardization efforts


  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Software Architects, Hardware Designers, RAMS, and V&V departments


  • Applying processes and standards and contributing to continuous improvement

  • Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent


  • 15+ years of experience in designing software modules for complex embedded systems


  • Experience in embedded/RTOS application development and adherence to software processes and coding guidelines


  • Proficiency in programming languages like Embedded C and Python


  • Familiarity with operating systems such as RT Linux


  • Knowledge of protocols like TCP/IP and standards such as CENELEC SIL4 / DO178A / DO178B


  • Exposure to Cybersecurity feature development and networking concepts


  • Experience in industries like railways or similar fields is desirable


  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and influence in a matrix organization


  • Innovative mindset with a flair for creating reusable solutions and reference libraries


  • Team player with prior experience in working with European customers (preferred but not mandatory)
