Project description You will be working in the GCTO Core Platform Engineering SDLC Security crew as a software engineer. Responsibilities Actively working in Core Platform Engineering SDLC Security Crew initiatives Skills Must have Ideally 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Golang Developer Deep expertise with the Golang programming language and design patterns Expertise in cloud native microservice architecture and understanding of distributed systems Experience/understanding of event streaming/querying technologies (Kafka or similar) Experience implementing test automation Familiarity with a broad range of platforms, technologies, and tools, specifically GitLab, Linux, Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Container Experience with public cloud Azure is a plus Understanding of security and regulatory concerns common in banking environments, particularly regarding the software supply chain, is a plus Working experience in Agile methodologies (SCRUM, XP, Kanban) is a plus Nice to have Knowledge about security basics (OpenID Connect, OAUTH2, JWT, TLS) and desire to learn more Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, e.g., PostgreSQL, Azure Cosmos DB Experience working with logging and monitoring tools, e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana Unix/Linux server management Other Languages English: C1 Advanced Seniority Regular
