The RoleWe are seeking an Advanced Process Control (APC) Solution Enablement Manager (A.K.A Global Practice Manager) either from within our organization or externally. Major responsibility of this position is to work closely with our Enterprise Solution Consultants (ESCs) and/or Regional Solution Consultants (SCs) to develop solutions, business case and services execution plans for the APC opportunities we pursue with our current and new customers. This person will also confirm and will be accountable for the scope, deliverables and timeline of APC proposals to clients and our partners.
This is a unique position for an exceptional APC Engineer or consultant to take on an influential, high-impact role with deeper involvements with our sales and services organizations. This candidate will work with our customers and deployment partners for delivering control and optimization solutions across the globe using our state-of-the-art DMC3 technology.

Your Impact
  • Primarily working to support the sales of our Aspen DMC3 software.
  • Guide the sales organization for preparing services quotes and proposals to our clients.
  • Support growth of the APC business for license sales and Services Bookings.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with delivery teams (Services and Partners) to achieve stated milestones, delivery dates and financial goals.
  • Work cooperatively with AspenTech’s extended team in Sales, Support, Customer success, R&D and Partners to ensure successful project delivery and completion.
  • Work with the Partner Group and be accountable for the technical assessment of DSP applicants.
  • Be on the core team of new product launch within the APC practice.


What You'll Need
  • Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred, in Engineering or similar, and/or extensive experience of direct hands-on operations within the chemical and/or refinery operations.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Advanced Process Control (APC) experience is a must for this role.
  • Fast learner with a desire/motivation to learn cutting-edge new technologies.
  • A team player with the ability to relate to customers and maintain good working relationships.
  • Good spoken and written skills in English language.
  • Other languages a definite asset but not a requirement.
  • Ability to travel globally up to 60% of the time with a minimum of two trips per quarter.
