We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Software Engineering



In this role you will:



  • Work with VS and SVS Leads and Define Risk objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
  • Manage Risk roadmaps, timelines, Reporting and plans.
  • Manage Demise strategy for the SVS.
  • Manage service ownership of at least one application. 
  • Work with VS/SVS Leads and Collaborate with leadership and IT teams to ensure alignment.
  • Work with VS/SVS Leads and act as the primary point of contact for Risk and Controls.
  • Work with SVS Lead and ITSO’s and act as the primary point of contact app rationalization and alignment to VS FSA.
  • Track team efficiency via tooling.
  • Optimize execution while balancing cost, time, and quality.
  • Produce Financial on regular basis
  • Identify gaps in Supply and Demand and help manage capacity.
  • Plan ahead for hiring and Releases based on budget position.
  • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies and report early.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and regulatory requirements


To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:



  • Experience is leading team(s).
  • Experience in working with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing Risk and controls. Awareness of standard Risk policies.
  • Experience in reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of underline tech stack (distributed or Mainframes) to manage Risk and controls.
  • Project Management Expertise: Awareness of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Leadership & Communication: Good stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex challenges and drive solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver technical messages to a non-technical audience
  • Effective communication, collaboration, team, and presentation skills with a proven ability to operate effectively in a fast moving environment are essential.
  • Ability to guide people to implement the right solution
