We are IBM Z/OSMF (Z Operating System, Management Facility), professionals working on Z Enterprise Systems that build simplied web based UI to manage various aspects of z/OS. It helps in improving productivity of z/OS System Programmers. It provides this ability through simplified , streamlined and automated tasks in the form of workflows that are quite easy to learn and use. z/OSMF provides both browser based and programmatic interfaces. It provide paltform and language independent REST APIs to write custom programs to manage the z/OS resources. z/OSMF also comes with various plugins to manage various aspects of z/OS. • Contribute to building the world's simplest and most efficient management system on IBM Z systems, empowering customers to seamlessly manage their resources. Play a key role in enhancing the z/OS Management Facility (z/OSMF) by delivering intuitive and powerful capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with all stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to feature design. Implement innovative solutions for product initiatives.
• Write clean, readable, scalable, and efficient code, and conduct rigorous unit and functional testing.
• Review components and associated pull requests, providing constructive feedback on changes made by team members.
• Identify test scenarios and build comprehensive test cases, including unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests.
• Integrate test automation into workflow processes.
• Perform testing activities in virtual or real environments across various levels, including component, system, and system-level integration testing.
• Participate in weekly sprints, provide status updates to the Iteration Manager, and coordinate and deliver sprint demos.
• Ensure timely delivery of user stories associated with product initiatives.
• Identify, triage, and resolve defects discovered during various testing phases.
• Communicate effectively and promptly while collaborating with both local and remote team members and stakeholders.
• Seek opportunities for client engagement and lead discussions with clients and stakeholders under the guidance of the Product Owner.
• Drive product hygiene activities by adhering to organizational security practices, conducting accessibility testing, and managing product builds.
• Develop and enhance the continuous integration environment to automate the delivery pipeline.
• Mentor junior team members in resolving technical challenges and support leadership in adhering to organizational processes

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Python-based backend or full-stack development roles.
• Proficient in Python programming, with hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs and using template engines such as Jinja.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and libraries like PyTorch and TensorFlow; strong foundation in mathematical and statistical principles, including model training.
• Exposure to emerging technologies such as Prompt Engineering, Agentic AI, and Large Language Model (LLM) concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills; adept at identifying root causes and participating in code reviews.
• Knowledge of unit testing, functional testing, and system testing frameworks and tools.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services via RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of security development tools and secure coding practices.
• Proven experience in software development within Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Jira.
