Mumbai - Maharashtra - India Supply Chain Professional – Low Voltage Motors Role Overview The Supply Chain Professional will manage end-to-end supply chain activities for Low Voltage Motors, ensuring timely procurement, inventory optimization, supplier relationship management, and cost efficiency.
This role requires strong collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to support production and customer delivery targets.
Key responsibilities of a supply chain professional for LV motors Develop and execute production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and operational objectives Working with production teams to ensure that motor manufacturing processes align with supply chain strategies and timelines.
Alignment with suppliers for components and materials and managing relationships with manufacturers to ensure a steady supply of motors.
· Identifying and mitigating potential risks in the supply chain, such as material shortages, geopolitical issues, or production delays.
Collaborating with quality control teams to ensure that the motors meet industry standards and customer specifications.
Implement Lean manufacturing principles, 5S practices, and other methodologies to eliminate waste and improve productivity Lead cost optimization initiatives and implement engineering changes to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
Qualification and skills Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain roles within manufacturing of Low voltage motors.
