Experience: 10–15 years (with strong hands-on engineering background)




Role Purpose



We are looking for a Technical Manager with deep MERN stack expertise who can own end-to-end delivery of modern web platforms while leading and growing high-performing engineering teams. This role is ideal for a leader who is technically strong, product-minded, and execution-driven—someone who can move seamlessly between architecture, code, and people leadership.



You will be responsible for building scalable, cloud-ready applications, ensuring engineering excellence, and translating product vision into reliable, production-grade systems.




Key Responsibilities



Technical Leadership



  • Own the architecture, design, and delivery of applications built on MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
  • Define and enforce engineering best practices for coding, security, performance, and scalability.
  • Review and guide system design, API architecture, database models, and frontend frameworks.
  • Drive cloud-native, microservices-based solutions using AWS / Azure.

Delivery & Execution



  • Lead multiple agile teams to deliver high-quality, on-time releases.
  • Translate product and business requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans.
  • Ensure CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and reliability across all services.

People & Team Leadership



  • Hire, mentor, and develop full-stack engineers and tech leads.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, code quality, learning, and accountability.
  • Conduct regular technical reviews, performance feedback, and career development.

Stakeholder & Product Collaboration



  • Partner with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, and Business teams to align delivery with roadmap and customer needs.
  • Communicate technical risks, timelines, and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams and suppliers to gather and document requirements for the project.


Required Skills & Experience



Core Technical Skills



  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5+ years in MERN stack
    • React.js (or Next.js)
    • Node.js & Express
    • MongoDB (or similar NoSQL databases)
  • Strong experience with:
    • RESTful & GraphQL APIs
    • Microservices architecture
    • Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
    • Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
    • Security, authentication, and data protection

Leadership & Delivery



  • Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
  • Strong background in Agile/Scrum delivery
  • Experience handling production systems at scale
