We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at a leading paper and paper product manufacturing company located in Al Azraq ash Shamali, Jordan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization and will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  2. Monitor and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  3. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data.
  4. Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
  5. Conduct regular audits of financial processes and internal controls to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support operational decision-making.
  7. Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
