Valsoft Corporation is seeking a PowerBuilder Developer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our enterprise software systems.
You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions, ensuring the software meets business needs and operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain applications using PowerBuilder.
Collaborate with product managers and technical teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
Debug and troubleshoot existing applications to optimize performance.
Implement best practices for software development and design, including coding standards and documentation.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to quality and performance standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance application functionality.
Proven experience as a PowerBuilder Developer (at least 3 years).
Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.
g., Oracle, SQL Server).
Experience in web services and integration with various systems.
Understanding of software development methodologies and version control systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
