Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Service Manager - Rotating Equipment to lead and manage the execution of field service LSTK (Lump Sum Turnkey) projects for rotating equipment. The role requires strong technical expertise and hands-on experience with rotating machinery, including pumps, compressors, steam and gas turbines, gearboxes, conveyors, fin fans, extruders, and alignment techniques.
Must hold a valid transferable Iqama (KSA-based candidates only)
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
Supervise, coordinate, and manage execution of LSTK projects involving rotating equipment.
Lead and oversee third-party contractors and consultants.
Manage major installations and equipment repairs during plant outages/turnarounds.
Analyze rotating equipment performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
Lead Management of Change (MOC) processes and project-related assignments.
Prepare technical reports, obtain approvals, and ensure timely execution of engineering actions.
Maintain accurate logs, project updates, and technical records.
Define overhaul scopes and procedures based on performance and downtime availability.
Support preventive maintenance programs and technical standards development.
Provide emergency support for equipment issues outside normal working hours.
Deliver technical training for maintenance and operations teams.
Conduct design reviews, inspections, and evaluations for new and existing assets.
Develop long-term reliability strategies for rotating and mechanical systems.
Provide hands-on technical leadership in troubleshooting and maintenance.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop equipment improvement plans.
Support technical growth and capability development of the field services team.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
15-20 years of field experience in managing rotating equipment in oil refineries, petrochemical plants, or power generation facilities.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Saudi Arabia (SABIC & ARAMCO projects).
Strong knowledge of operational procedures, safety standards, and quality compliance per SABIC/ARAMCO.
