We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director – Insights and Analytics



Principal responsibilities



  • End-to-end analytical support to technology change delivery, from requirements documentation and design, to coordination of technical deployment and testing.
  • Lead on data analysis, informing requirement scope and design. Work with the Product Owner to ensure that all key stakeholders are appropriately considered and engaged during analysis and implementation
  • Chair kick-off meetings, regular status updates and other forums. Adhere to workstream and programme governance structures, including regular updates to the PMO and Programme Leadership, and MI as required.
  • Monitor and escalate risks, issues and dependencies as appropriate
  • The jobholder must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with various colleagues across the Business,
  • Finance, Data and IT, who may have their own conflicting local pressures
  • The jobholder must possess the ability to prioritize effectively and manage stakeholder expectations successfully, within strict time limits.
  • The jobholder must be able to communicate effectively across a global organization, and across time-zones and cross-functional teams. This may include (but not limited to): business/technical requirements, objectives, success criteria, performance measures, timelines, risks and key dependencies
  • The jobholder must demonstrate the ability to provide innovative recommendations and/or solutions to the project team when faced with unplanned situations

Requirements : 



  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in finance and technology transformation (E)
  • Business analysis skills and end-to-end understanding of the technology delivery lifecycle, from requirements documentation to deployment and testing (E)
  • Experience in MI / dashboard delivery (E)
  • Strong understanding of business / finance concepts and terminology within a banking environment (E)
  • Skilled in data analysis, research, validation and documentation (E)
  • Detail oriented, capable of delivering work to a high level of accuracy (E)
  • Strong self-starter, enthusiastic problem solver, ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision (E)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (E)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, and above all a team player (E)
  • High level of competency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular MS Excel (E)
