Job summary

As a GIS Team Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will work in a hybrid model ensuring seamless integration of GIS technologies into mobile solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance user experience and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms ensuring high-quality user experience and performance.
• Oversee the integration of GIS technologies into mobile applications to provide location-based services and solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers designers and product managers to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Ensure that mobile applications are developed in compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct regular code reviews and testing to ensure the quality and functionality of mobile applications.
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile development and GIS technologies.
• Communicate project progress and challenges to stakeholders ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of mobile development processes.
• Analyze user feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies and tools.
• Support the professional development of team members through mentoring and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in mobile development for iOS and Android platforms with a focus on GIS integration.
• Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Swift Objective-C Java and Kotlin.
• Have a solid understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
• Show experience in using GIS tools and technologies to develop location-based services.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Display strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications Required

Certified Mobile Application Developer (CMAD) GIS Professional Certification (GISP)
