Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced professional to manage Fixed Asset Accounting and Lease Accounting processes. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for asset placement, reconciliation, and reporting, ensuring compliance with organizational and statutory requirements. The candidate will work closely with onshore teams for updates, variance analysis, and timely reporting. Additionally, the role requires hands-on experience in managing operational leases, including accounting for approximately 500 leases across multiple systems.


· Key Responsibilities:


· Manage fixed asset lifecycle: placement, capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.


· Perform monthly reconciliations between ERP and reporting tools; resolve discrepancies promptly.


· Collaborate with onshore teams for updates, variance explanations, and reporting accuracy.


· Prepare and update reporting numbers from ERP to reporting tools within prescribed timelines.


· Handle operational lease accounting, including setup, modifications, and terminations.


· Manage high-volume lease portfolios (~500 leases) across different lease accounting tools.


· Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 16 / ASC 842) and internal policies.


· Provide timely updates and follow-ups on differences identified during reconciliations.


· Support audits and provide necessary documentation for fixed assets and leases.


Work Experience and Skills required:


· 58 years of experience in Fixed Asset Accounting and Lease Accounting.


· Proven track record in managing end-to-end fixed asset processes, including ERP-based reporting.


· Hands-on experience with operational lease accounting and managing large lease portfolios.


· Exposure to multiple lease accounting tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).


· Experience in performing reconciliations and resolving discrepancies with onshore teams.


· Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements for assets and leases.


· Prior experience in supporting audits and preparing reconciliations for reporting purposes.


Good to Have:


· Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and lease accounting tools.


· Strong knowledge of fixed asset lifecycle and lease accounting standards (IFRS 16 / ASC 842).


· Advanced Excel skills for reconciliation and reporting


· Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies in asset and lease data.


· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.


· Excellent communication skills for onshore coordination and stakeholder management.


· Ability to work under pressure and manage high-volume transactions.


Educational Qualification:


· CA/ICWA/CMA/CPA/M. Com/MBA Finance
