Job Description
* Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and installation work on LV and MV systems including motors, switchgear, panels, transformers, MCCs, and distribution boards.
* Troubleshoot electrical faults using test instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
* Support the disconnection, removal, and reconnection of electrical systems during shutdowns.
* Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical components and systems.
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and job packages.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), permit to work (PTW), and confined space entry (if applicable).
* Coordinate with mechanical and instrumentation teams during integrated maintenance tasks.
* Document work performed and report any anomalies or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
* Adhere to shutdown timelines and quality standards under high pressure environments.
* Education: Technical Diploma or Industrial Training Certificate in Electrical Technology or related field.
* Experience:
o Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical shutdown within petrochemical, refinery, or industrial plant environments.
o Proven experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, or major maintenance events.
* Certifications (Preferred):
o Aramco / SABIC Permit Holder certification
o OSHA / NFPA 70E or equivalent electrical safety training
o LOTO awareness training o Cable jointing and termination certification (if applicable)
12 Hours duty/7 days a week
