Job Description

Director of Revenue


This position will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive commercial strategy that maximizes revenue, market share, and profitability across all business units. This role requires a strategic leader with deep analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for luxury guest experiences.


  • Develop and implement a total revenue management strategy encompassing the hotel, waterpark, and beach club, aligned with brand and owner objectives.
  • Lead the forecasting, pricing, inventory control, and yield optimization for all revenue-generating departments.
  • Oversee distribution channel management, ensuring optimal visibility and profitability across direct, OTA, and third-party platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, F&B, and operations to align tactical plans with the overall commercial strategy.
  • Conduct detailed market segmentation analysis to identify and target high-yield segments, seasonal opportunities, and emerging markets.
  • Design and manage dynamic pricing strategies to adapt to changing market conditions, events, and demand drivers.
  • Monitor competitor performance and market trends using benchmarking tools (STR, OTA Insight, etc.) to inform strategic decisions.
  • Drive the integration of data analytics and business intelligence tools for better decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Lead weekly and monthly business review meetings, presenting revenue results, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Partner with Rixos corporate revenue and digital teams to leverage brand-wide initiatives, systems, and distribution technologies.
  • Ensure all RMS, PMS, CRS, and Channel Management systems are optimized and accurately maintained.
  • Develop and implement ancillary revenue strategies, including upselling, cross-selling, and package creation across all outlets.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing revenue management team, fostering continuous learning and innovation.
  • Support the budgeting process, long-term business planning, and owner reporting with precise revenue insights and analytics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in revenue management, preferably within luxury hospitality or resort operations.
  • Proven success in managing multi-asset portfolios (resorts, waterparks, and/or leisure facilities).
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to translate data into strategic action.
  • Expertise in hotel systems (Opera, IDeaS, Duetto, or similar) and advanced Excel or BI tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
