Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities of housekeeping staff.
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for cleanliness and standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping employees to ensure high performance.
Prepare work schedules and assign duties to housekeeping staff.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and used correctly.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linen; report shortages.
Report maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
Assist with hiring and onboarding of housekeeping staff when necessary.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports to management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality or management certification is a plus).
Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in basic computer systems (MS Office, housekeeping management systems).
