Job Description:

Parsons are looking for a seasoned Airfield Construction Management Specialist with extensive expertise in all facets of airfield construction to provide hands-on technical guidance and support on a major airport project.

The specialist will focus on optimizing construction processes, ensuring compliance with aviation standards, and troubleshooting complex on-site construction challenges. This role requires deep knowledge of runways, taxiways, pavements, utilities, and airfield systems, backed by 25 years of practical experience in aviation infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing;

• Provide technical expertise and solutions to improve construction methods and site execution efficiency across all airfield construction disciplines.
• Analyze construction workflows, identify potential bottlenecks, and recommend best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
• Act as the go-to specialist for complex technical challenges related to airfield pavement, drainage, lighting, and utilities construction.
• Collaborate closely with contractors, site teams, and consultants to resolve construction issues swiftly and effectively.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure strict adherence to design specifications, aviation regulations, and safety standards.
• Assist in performing quality checks, inspections, and verification of materials and workmanship on-site.
• Support preparation and review of technical documentation, site reports, and quality records.
• Provide expert input for final project handover and operational readiness documentation.

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• At least 25 years of hands-on experience in airfield or airport construction projects.
• Deep understanding of all airfield construction components including pavements, earthworks, drainage, lighting, and utilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical acumen in construction methods and materials.
• Familiarity with aviation construction standards and safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Certifications or specialized training in pavement technology, airport construction, or quality assurance.
• Experience with digital tools for construction monitoring and reporting.
• Knowledge of airport operational procedures and environmental management.
• Multilingual abilities, including Arabic, are a plus.
